SETUP PHASE

抖音 Download STEPS

IOS: Change country/region to China Mainland.

(Apple ID → Media & Purchase → View Account → Country/Region → Agree T&C → Payment Method → Fill in Details)

Android: Search douyin.com on browser (Open 抖音 app website → Find the download section)

抖音 Account

STEP 1: Create Douyin account using WeChat/Phone Number

STEP 2: Set up profile name, profile picture, profile biography etc.

Purpose: For sharing company information and interacting with audiences.

抖音 Business Account (PC ver)

STEP 1: Go to https://renzheng.douyin.com/

STEP 2: Scan QR using mobile app to sign in

STEP 3: Fill in all the details and information required

STEP 4: Fill in the form and pay for service fees (600 RMB), and wait for validation.

STEP 5: After validation, you could start to manage your brand.

抖音 Personal Account Verification

  • At least one video must have been published.

  • A minimum of 10,000 followers on your account.

  • A telephone number that is associated with your account.

抖音 Businesses Account Verification

  • Valid business license for the Mainland of China.

  • If you want people to link to your website, you are going to need an ICP license.

  • Send in a cover letter with your application.

  • A yearly charge of 600 RMB is required.

抖音 Store

STEP 1: Visit Douyin store website on PC for registration.

STEP 2: Login to your account.

STEP 3: Select correct entity type and fill in the store information.

STEP 4: Wait for verification and complete identification afterward.

STEP 5: Pay earnest money and finish the registration process.

STEP 6: Open the management page and click “channel management” or “official account” to associate your multi-channel brand account or Douyin brand account and add your products.
